Selecting a Part from the Part Codes Table

To select a Part Code to add to an estimate, select Databases > Part Codes. (Make sure the view mode is set for Estimate/database). The Part Codes for the associated Insurance company are listed first, designated with IC before the code. Highlight the part you want to add to the estimate. When you select a part from the Parts Code table, all totals are updated.

To select a part from the part codes table to insert into the estimate.

  1. Open or create a workfile.
  2. Select the Estimate tab, and then select the Lines tab.
  3. Select the Part Codes tab from the database panel. (Make sure the view mode is set for Estimate/Database).
  4. Highlight the part you want to insert into the estimate.
  5. Select the Add to Estimate button to add the line

    Double-click on the highlighted part.

    - or -

    Select the Add to Estimate, and then select With Changes. The Estimate Lines Properties sheet opens. Make any changes to the information.
  6. Select the Add to Estimate button.

To add a part from the part codes table manually

  1. Open or create a workfile.
  2. Select the Estimate tab, and then select the Lines tab.
  3. Enter the part code directly in the Description field of a blank estimate line, and then press ENTER. Be careful: part codes are case sensitive.
